Nottinghamshire YMCA is growing, and supporting more people than ever to live healthy, independent lives.
Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to maintain a safe and secure place to live and work as part of the wider YMCA housing team.
As well as providing security, you will excel in providing caring and professional customer service. You’ll be asked to contribute in a variety of ways to our resident’s daily lives - by completing safety checks and simple maintenance, providing a friendly and welcoming reception service, assisting with the distribution of mail, helping with allocations of accommodation and maintaining accurate records.
You will be organised and capable of maintaining manual and computerised records to a high standard. Your meticulous record keeping and eye for detail will be key as you manage a variety of key processes: Everything from mail distribution, to rent payments, CCTV monitoring, allocations of accommodation, security patrols, minor repairs and routine health and safety and fire safety checks.
We are supporting more people than ever before and your ability to support a high-performing culture in your team will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people, and society as a whole. You will take great pride in your empathy and person-centered approach.
We think we are an excellent organisation to begin a career in social housing with. As your contribution to our YMCA evolves, we will support you with training and opportunities for progression where appropriate. We provide a significant programme of workplace benefits including YMCA gym membership and access to support for childcare, transport or health cash plans.
If you are as passionate as we are about quality supported housing provision and want to make a difference to the lives of the people who live with us, then please apply.
