Do you have experience working with children in Game Design? Could you be a positive role model, helping children develop self-esteem and respect for others? Can you create an enjoyable, safe and stimulating educational environment?
As a Game Design Programme Leader, you’ll be a part of the Activities, Adventure & Camps Department delivering a progressive Game Design programme over 5 Weeks of the summer holidays. Your focus will be to help children of all abilities to realise their potential. Other duties will include supporting planning, preparation, and delivery of other activities, including sports, arts, and crafts.
Acting as a positive role model, you’ll relate well to children and young people and be committed to growth and development. An ability to plan and deliver sessions to children of differing abilities and a good understanding of Ofsted policies and procedures are fundamental to the role. You’ll also need to be available for training for two days in July.
Computer Game Design experience or a relevant qualification is essential for this post. You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong relations with parents and guardians, school staff and colleagues. And you’ll pride yourself on your resourcefulness, flexibility and team spirit.
