An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Fundraising and Research Officer to assist us put our plans into action.
Reporting to the Operations Manager – Marketing, Communications and Funding, and working with the Funding Manager, you will be experienced in proposal production terminology, editing and drafting. Working closely with our programme managers you will be versatile in your approach and use your previous experience of writing successful tenders, bids, grant applications and commissioning documents to deliver major capital projects from feasibility through to design, business case approval, bid writing, tendering and procurement (where appropriate), collation and completion.
Alongside this you will ideally have experience in market research programmes to help you and the funding division drive interest from the relevant sectors that will lead to an increased propensity to provide funding. As the organisations primary research professional it is expected that you will support the charity in other areas outside of funding on a regular basis.
Strong commercial awareness, exceptional communication, editing and copy writing skills, self motivation, the ability to work to strict deadlines and high level IT skills are essential.
