Your role as a Residential Social Care Worker will be to provide care and support to children and young people living in our residential homes. You will be expected to work with the children on a daily basis to increase their skills, confidence and emotional well being and ensure that they are safeguarded at all times. You will also plan and join in with activities, attend meetings and undertake practical work such as writing reports, keeping daily records and completing routine health and safety checks.
Our ideal candidate will have the Diploma 3 Health and Social Care qualification; have experience of working in a residential care and have an understanding of working in a regulated setting. You must be able to take part in physical activities with the children, have a full driving licence and be willing to drive our company vehicle. Your written work should be of a good standard and you must be able to follow policies and procedures.
